About Kris Franklin
Two college degrees: BA in Education (Texas Tech University) and MA in English (University of North Texas).

Eighteen years experience in public school teaching English in Texas and Colorado, on all levels from 7th grade through 12th grade.

Author of over 50 published short fiction stories and nonfiction articles. Former staff writer with The Pagosa Springs Sun in Colorado, and later a columnist for the same newspaper.

Author of 3 nationally and internationally published novels:
Silvercat, published by Bantam in the U.S, Canada, and United Kingdom. Sold also for foreign language rights and published in a total of 5 languages.
The High San Juan, published by Bantam in the U.S, Canada, and United Kingdom. Sold also for foreign rights in Japan.
Relentless, published by Kensington Press. Optioned for film rights both in Los Angeles and Canada.

Writing instructor for Long Ridge Writers Group in Danbury, CT, for 20 years (and currently). Also currently editor of an independent editing service for novelists in the development/completion of their novels.
